Integrated Resource Plan (IRP)
- A utility’s planning and selection process for new energy resources that evaluates a range of alternatives, to provide adequate and reliable electric service at the lowest system cost. (Also known as Least Cost Plan)

- The connection between a generating system and the utility grid, enabling power to be moved in either direction.
